I now have it working again.
I've done two things at once so am unsure of what has fixed the
problem.
I rolled back the Billion's firmware to the previous one (which I only
upgraded 2 days ago) + I'm letting the router assign the IP address.
I'm thinking it could very well be the latest
I've not heard of that being a particular issue, I use WPA security
without a problem on my units. I have other wireless issues, but that
is mainly to do with the number if other networks in my area.

I have WPA running on a Netgear DG834N without any problems, though it
is a Squeezebox 3 rather than 2.

I have 2xSB2 and 1xSB3 using WPA running on the same model Netgear
router without any issues.
What Mode do you have it running in? If on up to 270 try taking it
down to gb mode and seeing if that improves your connection rate.
Also, what router firmware are you running?

Hi All,
I used to have issues running the SB2 when I set my Netgear DG834GT
router to WPA security. The SB2 would drop out every few minutes then
reconnect to the router.
The SB2 worked fine with WEP or no security.
I've just upgraded to a Billion 7404VGP and the SB2 has the same
issues. Works
