yes, but what about security? is there another way to protect Internet playlists apart from a http://username:[EMAIL PROTECTED] scheme? -- orbyone orbyone's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14875

[slim] Slimserver logging

2008-01-09 Thread orbyone
Hi, can Slimserver support logging? I want to use many Squeezebox clients, and be able to get logging on the server on which client asked for which mp3, and when. Thanks -- orbyone orbyone's Profile:

Logging is available in Server Settings, Debugging. You can turn logging for each of many items on individually. I am not sure which ones you would want turned on to cover your needs. -- danco danco's Profile:

Or, if your files are tagged, you could set each Squeezebox up to use a different Audioscrobbler account and monitor them that way - although the data would then be publicly available (to anyone who knew the account names) and you can't use it for commercial purposes without a separate licence.
