Sorry to start another thread, but I didn't see where we had one main thread going for "7.4 bonked my whole setup!". So here goes:
I am running Vista32 and began the day with 7.3.3. After installing 7.4, my music scan gave me "Music scan terminated unexpectedly (Merge Various Artists)". This happened after all my songs where scanned in, but I don't like this error. A more major malfunction has rendered both my Transporter and SB3 unusable. I am prompted to update their firmwares, but am eventually greeted with the message "nb alloc failed in slimproto". Resetting, etc. has not helped. I think I am going to try 7.4.1, but for some reason I don't think it is going to fix either of these problems. Can anyone offer assistance?
