But, after the sleep timer shuts off, there is a black screen on both
displays. There is a state that your plugin is missing!
On screen burn, can I scroll the time?

Did you configure the "paused" state, too?

Good point. And in addition, they seem to have a limited life in
general. To preserve these displays, I don't use CLOCK display. In fact,
I use the plugin "BlankSaver" to turn the Transporter displays to OFF
when nothing is playing. I do the same thing for my Booms.

Although calling them screensavers is a bit of a misnomer. The VFD
screens can suffer from burn in.

You can't use SuperDateTime and MIS - they're both screensavers and
mutually exclusive.

They seem to work together. But I am willing to give one of them up if I
can get a clock on every en state.

Actually, that is what I had installed. Similar names. I had contacted
you before about this actually. There is a state that you do not cover,
namely after sleep made ends. I get a blank display then, and I cannot
tell when to wake up.

I'm not sure I do understand what you're saying.

What settings do you recommend for MIS to get me a clock or
SuperDateTime in every mode?

[slim] Using Transporter as a clock

2019-11-05 Thread jarome

I would like to use one of the windows on my transporter as a clock (or
preferably display SuperDateTime) in all modes--playing, paused, off--
but have been unable to figure out how to do this.

I was using InformationScreen, but it was never satisfactory. I turned
it off, and it will not turn on again :-(

One of the choices in the Basic Settings screen is Extended text
display, but I don't know where to set that.

Thanks for any help,
Jim
