This is an OS image that can run LMS and a squeezebox client on a
raspberry pi, including managing the storage (external USB drive). There
are other such images. This gives you server and client in one tiny low
powered box.
Or you can

Hardware: 3x Touch, 1x Radio, 2x Receivers, 1 HP Microserver NAS with
Debian+LMS 7.9.0
Music: ~1300 CDs, as 450 GB of 16/44k FLACs. No less than 3x 24/44k
albums..
I run LMS on a PC running Windows 10. The OS forces updates on me which
take a long time to install, and I don't have access to music when it
happens. This is irritating to say the least.
Is there a good way round this problem, even if it means buying a new
hardware running a different OS?
