A very long time ago, my SB3 stopped working and it turned out that one
of the daughter cards had worked loose (not the wifi...maybe the
display? It was a while ago). There is a multi pin header like the GPIO
header on a Raspberry Pi. Try pulling the daughter card off, then
reseating it.

The first step I would take would be to remove the wifi daughter card,
if that blows the unit won't start. I have revived 2 SB3s with this (and
replaced the daughter card to completely revive them).

My old squeezebox3 recently went off for no obvious reason, while
listening to a remote radio stream.
Power brick output is fine.
When power is applied:
- nothing is displayed
- "special IR keys" do nothing
- ethernet link goes up (switch sense 100mbps peer)... so its not
"completely dead"
