Holacracy has Governance meetings and Tactical meetings, but they also
assume that all of an organization's partners (employees / volunteers)
are physically in the same space, talking to one another as needed to
get input. I think we need an equivalent. I'm going to call them
"discussions" -- informal chat that we can use to solicit opinions.
Discussions can and do happen over Email or IRC, but it's often
cumbersome to have discussions about more complex topics like this
through those mediums.
I'm going to try a new thing -- whenever I'm working on snowdrift.coop
stuff, I'm going to hang out in meet.jit.si/snowdrift. I'll think of it
like "being at my desk." Feel free to do the same, or just drop by any
time if you want to talk something through.
