Subject: PPIG discuss: Representation of mental models

Hello,

I know this is a rather misunderstood area, but I wonder if anyone has
looked into external representations (diagrammatic) of programmers' mental
models of source code? I have carried out map completion exercises with
hypertext environments, and although these may not be a true representation
of mental models (what is one anyway?), there may be some arguement that
they are not entirely unrelated. I wonder if something similar has been
carried out in the area program comprehension.

Thanks,

Sue
