Hi Usman,
I haven't used this SDK for the BBB, but found this write up [1]. Another
option to consider is using Arch Linux [2]. The UHD and GNU Radio Arch-Arm
packages are kept fairly up to date.
I noticed that you posted this question on both mailing lists, specifically
on usrp-users at [3], we
Hi all.
I'm trying to understand how Rx gain, the paremeter that is set in the USRP
Source block, affects the input signal. I would like to have an equation
for that.
I'm doing the next experiment:
- I take the input signal from the USRP Source block to a MAG^2 block.
- From MAG^2 block
I've been out of touch with this work for some years, but find that many
are still searching for the drivers referred to in this guide. As a help to
all, I've uploaded all these drivers to a shared folder on Google Drive

thanks for the detailed description. I’m not sure what the actual error is.
What do you mean with grc turns dark.
Does it crash or stop receiving or actually show a black window? Did grc turn
dark or the flow graph?
Best,

Having tried the several options from Derek and Mojtaba find myself lost still.
To summarize I am trying to send a file, whether that be complex (Jpeg) or
simple (txt) through a pair of USRP.
To start with I created a single flow graph with bit conversion encoding and
modulation, this works.
