I guess you are using a Ubuntu-like distro; if so, you can try the gnuradio PPA

blocks . Right now i am planning to create my own block using python code .
Can anyone guide me after creating python block how to convert it into a
custom block on gnu radio ? Do we need to create xml file

repairing your keyboard: its caps lock key seems to be stuck somehow ;)
Then: https://tutorials.gnuradio.org, go from start to the chapters on
writing your own blocks.
