windows'. I just tried to uncheck the last one, as it seemed it could
be the cause of the problem, but it didn't work: the problem still

Thanks for the info. It is more or less what I suspected. I chose
Debian because they seem to be the only ones who have GNUstep packages
in their standard distribution, but it seems they don't upgrade them
very often. I checked the testing and unstable releases for the
versions to come;

I'm currently using the latest Debian Linux distribution with
WindowMaker as my window manager and a few GNUstep applications,
mainly GWorkspace and Terminal. And I have a weird problem with the
keyboard focus. The problem seems to happen only when a window is
focused
What settings do you have selected in the WindowMaker preferences?
