Hello. In TextEditor or Terminal (in fact, all GNUstep applications) xim (scim 1.0) doesn't seem to work. I don't know if other xim works, in my case I made sure environment variables are correctly set, and Chinese input is working fine for gtk applications like firefox thunderbird. With

This is a backend bug. Whatever application you start first under WindowMaker does not get a proper application menu or application icon. In fact, you can reproduce the effect for any application by setting defaults write NSGlobalDomain GSIgnoreRootOffsets YES I don't know if this is a

I would suggest against using anything from the Backbone project, except for the fonts if you're using the -art backend. It's no longer under development and is starting to suffer from bit rot. Preferences.app can be replaced with SystemPreferences.app, Terminal.app is not in the GAP project
