Squeezebox
hardware in the local network. But I definitely would not want to open
the same port range for my desktop running SqueezeSlave.
So, how should I configure my router's firewall?
Thanks, Malte

Hello Felix
thanks for the explanation!
In deed, the information about the player always seems to reflect the
current internet connection. If that connection is cut, the information
submenu is not available.
Cheers

Hi,
is it possible to have a Squeezebox play a sound file right away,
regardless of its current state? I would like to use my Squeezeboxes
(Radio, Duet) to notify me if an error condition occurs on my home
server. I'm running a local LMS if that helps.
Thanks in advance,
maf
I noticed that whenever I take a screenshot of the SqueezePlay window, a
copy is placed in %appdata%\Squeezeplay\userpath as a BMP file. Even
though this is a nice feature, is there a way to turn if off?

Thanks! I moved Screenshot to a new folder
SqueezePlay\lua\applets.disabled. One never knows :-)

I make recordings of radio broadcasts that I want to listen to once with
my Squeezebox and then delete.
Could I entice somebody to write such plugin? :-)
Thanks for your suggestions.

Unfortunately, that won't work. Its a collection of recordings and there
is no listening pattern. So I couldn't specify to cron in advance which
redording(s) to delete.

Well, I'm using a Squeezebox Radio for listening. If possible, I would
like to use the Squeezebox to delete the recordings right after I finish
listening. Otherwise, I'd have to get up, access the server, navigate to
the recording and delete it. Or do that the next day, when I can't
remember
In a directory on the LMS machine (a RPi with Raspbian) which is
specified the LMS configuration.

Is there a way to delete a recording on a local LMS from the Squeezebox
user interface? May be a plugin to add that functionality?
