if in case you run ALAC files as they are inline transformed to FLAC or WAV and send to the clients. The more clients you have the more conversions processes are running. Then, all searches through a huge library hogs the CPU too. -- starcat

the default view should be thesmall- all-covers view on the right siee. Apple has this for all albums, but not if you browse for artists or through playlists. Very nice otherwise, just bought it from the store!! -- starcat

that a rectangular cover fits in the top part of it and there is an added rectangular space below for the three lines text showing album, artist and track name. This will also allow for slightly more space for longer names in the left pane! -- starcat

I see artwork only when a track is playing but not when browsing playlist/albums (regardless of cover or list view modes). All artwork is high-res embedded in the file tags. For what it is worth I am running SS 7.5.2 r31387 on a 1.83Ghz C2D Mac Mini. -- starcat

Cleared cache and rescanned again without interruption. Still no covers. List is complete, only two show covers other show the grey note placeholder!? Cover shows ok however (in currently playing square) when track starts playing. -- starcat

PDT 2010 If I open Artists-All Albums it shows that albums are loaded, progress bar on top passes and still no artwork is shown. I have Use iTunes checked on the server, but only that way round and not from SS into iTunes (i.e. all other boxes in that tab are unchecked). -- starcat

Restarting the App, yes I have switched to others and than back to iPeng several times if that is what you mean!? The screenshot only shows the Grey Note placeholder. It is a long list. Web server GUI shows all artwork ok, so does SqueezePad. -- starcat

Does the described above reset procedure work for stopping that degaussing sound? - remove power, hold down 1 button on remote and at the same time reapply power to the transporter until the screen goes into reset mode. I too have it constantly on my Transporter which is really annoying. Thanks
