michaeldk;651756 Wrote: Could you inform more about the allover impression of the units, like ease of use, ui performance/possibilities and of course soundwise please The unit I had was a test unit and not full production (apparently that run is now on the way). The setup was really easy although I did think some of the UI was not as intuitive as it could be and fed that back to them accordingly. I used both the direct ethernet and the powerline and had no problems with either. It picked up all the computers on the network so it took a while to import the libraries for the first setup (metadata only, not music as that streams from the source computer) but after that it was really quick. There's a good function to filter the libraries to exclude all my daughter's music just for my login and my music from her login. The sound was great indeed, without wanting to blow smoke, pretty amazing. I was paying mostly 320 mp3 and flac. Didn't get a chance to test the 24 bit myself but I have heard that running when I picked the unit up and there's no question 24/96 is working well (they said they're testing 24/192 and higher but unlikely that will be available at launch). -- polnoon polnoon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=49212 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89685 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

I don't relish the task of having to rename 850+ jpegs! Come on Logitech - release an updated Receiver!!! I've been testing one of these Simple Audio units and any artwork type with any name along with the tracks will work. It also does hirez and it dont need some special software on the nas. I am not in it for the constant updating bussines rather for the music. Seems more and more stations are dropping RadioTime (TuneIn) and going to other stream aggregators like IheartRadio and others. Often the workaround to RadioTime stream issues (or outright absence of that stream even being offered) is to find their competitors URL to get the stations to play.
