Re: [slim] What has happened with the number of Shoutcast stations?
Quoting Tore Johnsson [EMAIL PROTECTED]: I run Slimserver 6.02 on Windows2000. I have 2000 streams and minimum bitrate 0. Something has happened with Shoutcast with the number of jazzstations. Now they are 12 and what I remember they were about 37. What has happened? winamp development was shut down by AOL a while back. given that winamp was responsible for shoutcast as well, I have seen some speculation that shoutcast would also suffer. Try checking the website (shoutcast.com) to see if there are only 12 jazz stations to be found. -kdf ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

I've been working a lot on Shoutcast recently... Happy guy, btw: I can't even download 2000 streams as there's one entry which makes XML::Simple cough... But with 1000 streams I get 17 streams in Jazz. -- Michael --- Help translate SlimServer by using the StringEditor Plugin (http://www.herger.net/slim/) ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss

I guess there's nothing wrong. -- Michael --- Help translate SlimServer by using the StringEditor Plugin (http://www.herger.net/slim/) ___ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
