What you ask about the would manipulate your image... would upload your image. As for multiple files at once...HTML forms were not made for that.  But you can use to go to the file time after time.  Now with that said...you could bypass that will http://labs.newmediateam.com/Multifileupload/File

Good to know. Ever had any problems with FCKEditor? The download page for Version 2.3.2 states that it is "under development" and that it is "usually stable, but not deeply tested".
