It depends on the power of the box to handle the performance of each thread.  If the requests are heavy every time, more power by reducing threads is indeed a band-aid.  What Doug was alluding to was that the pages need to be fixed and not the thread count. Teddy

As of now due to many of you I have decreased the active thread count in CF to 2 from 10. JRUNS errors are now at 1-2 mins every 2-4 hours vs the previous 40 mins every 2 hours. I have had activity that looks promising on the AbleCommerce site about: "ColdFusion MX 6.1: Updated DataDirect drivers
