Did you try restarting the cold fusion service?

Also, the event logs on the server may possibly provide some clue.

Subject: [ACFUG Discuss] runtime classes error with 7.0.2?

Today, our CF server has been throwing the error (in the cf error log):

"no such classpath element: C:\CFusionMX7\runtime/../../classes"

A little searching found the following solutions:
* Upgrade to ColdFusion MX 7.0.2.
* Apply the hot fix provided below to ColdFusion MX 7.0.1.
<http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=a604060d#hotfix>
* Manually update your Java settings in the jvm.config file.
<http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=a604060d#manual>

Alas, we have been running 7.0.2 for some time. Following the instructions for
updating the java settings only caused the CF service to stop responding.
Backing out those changes made the error disappear from the error log, but
still no response from the cf service.

We did take down the cf server and move it to a new rack yesterday morning,
however it was running smoothly all afternoon.

Does anyone else have any experience with the above error? Suggestions as to
where to look for assistance?

Running CF 7.0.2, on Windows Server 2k3.

Thanks
