The work Seth is doing will be in 2.1 sometime next year. He has made a lot
of progress in a very short amount of time.
And please don't misunderstand - I am absolutely thrilled about it. But it
probably does not meet the OP's needs quite yet.

Just in case somebody has the same hardware, here's a dmesg dump Notice I
had to put
# cat /boot/loader.conf
legal.intel_wpi.license_ack=1
legal.intel_ipw.license_ack=1
to get of legal warnings in the dmesg output.
Thanks - I have about 300 of these sitting in stacks at the moment, and
Hope you've got a few PCI-X dual-port Intel NICs as well, these can be hard
to get nowadays, even used.

recycler. It cost about $250 to get a network testbed set up for
the basic stuff, and I've added on as junk has come my way. It's absolutely
worth the money.
