Did you assign the card under (Interfaces --> Assign) When you look at the log of your startup (Status-->System Log) do you see the card getting recognized? Are you certain the card's plugged in completly? (It is possible to put a PCI card into the slot, in a way that only half the connections are connected) And if the card never worked, are you sure that the card is supported?
