Hi Greg,
Strictly speaking None ain't a number (nor a float), so it probably
isn't a bug.
Although it might be convenient at times to automatically convert None
to 0 (as in your case).
A simple workaround I always use is:
{{ best_avg_reliability|default:0|floatformat:1 }}
