Hi
I did a an install and setup up last night in a vm, and I need to install a
couple of packages that weren't in the instructions: git-core, zsh.
I managed to get sdk-init to work, after some fiddling.
I did sdk-chroot-arch amd64 which looked successful, but sdk-chroot-build
failed with
Agree with that, the best way is to filter or disregard it. The more people
filter it out the less disruptive trolling becomes. Spending any serious time
on trolls is like an invitation for them to come back and cause more disruption
(if only to distract the admin).
Cheers,

This will be fixed later today.

According to https://devuan.org/os/packages/base-files page when I install
the devuan4 basis-files_8 + package I should install the /etc/debian_version
file, but this does not happen when I install
devuan-jessie-i386-alpha4 -netboot.iso
This has been fixed in the beta or still does not

Enemies? Adversary?
There is no real adversary here. Just different people with different solutions
(of unequal quality) for different problems and use cases. Then again, some are
just plain wrong. ;-)
Devuan is a fork, for a road that means taking a different direction. It isn't
a war.

Dear Devuaners,
this is just a very minor thing. I was installing our beloved Devuan
Jessie on a qemu image, for testing purposes, using expert mode net
install. I wanted to switch to the console which shows the progression
made by the installer, including package installation and
configuration.
