A few months ago something did happen to me trying to clone a hard disk with Clonezilla; something related to existence of metadata that affected to integrity of the generated image. However, today I gave another try to the latest release 3.0.1-8 and everything went smoothly. I do not rule out that perhaps I used the testing version during the earlier attempt.
