I try to install devuan ascii on qemu, following the respective instructions on the git (https://git.devuan.org/devuan/devuan-project/wikis/try-devuan-on-qemu). Boot is fine, i choose expert installation but when it comes to tasksel the installation of software always fails. I can pass by this

In most cases right now, we have either the option to disable secure boot, or there is a version of GRUB that is signed, therefore permitting booting into other operating systems. For right now, investigate before buying to make sure you have the option to boot your operating system of choice. At

Hi all, just to report that I managed to install Devuan ascii on a new laptop, and everything works just fine. Well, to be honest, I was *not* able to install ascii from the any of the Jessie beta medium, since the d-i wants to install libpam-systemd which depends on systemd, so the install fails

Hello list, For a few friends I installed Mate desktop using Debian. Under Debian systemd is required for running Mate. When trying to install Mate on a Devuan Ascii (using the Debian install commands) I run into a dependency hell of unmet dependencies. And I'd rather use the normal repositories
