I don't exactly know how GTK+ and Palemoon are tied together but I can't figure out how to get any dark LXDE themes working so there isn't some dark-fg on dark bg text going on. I've finally resorted to hacking up a custom theme based on "Mist" but HTML combo boxes are still messed up:
