I am having trouble with vdev and evdev on an Arch linux derivative.
The problem is only with USB devices. Mem sticks work but having trouble with
mouse. /dev/input seems OK so it is some libudev/evdev issue perhaps?

I thought of trying libinput instead to see if that works.

My question is if libinput is part of the red hat strive for domination
of the linux market?

And if so it may be better to stay clear of it?
