yes, it could 'try' and it _may_ fail silently, but it tried to do

I'd be happy to add an OpenRC init script :) I opened an issue for it

Also, a BSD-style init script would be nice at some point (
Jude, when vdev gets mature enough, could you submit an init script to the
OpenRC project, please?
