Hi, I'm seeing an issue in releasing the IP address of the device assigned. Please clarify what is the behavior of DHCP server from dnsmasq package.
*The setup.* 1. A GW device, running *dnsmasq(DHCP) *for assigning the dynamic IP addresses to clients in the LAN(wired/wireless). 2. A client *C1* with *Y *as MAC address assigned 192.168.0.10 as IP 3. Now, I'm trying to Reserve this IP(192.168.0.10) address to another client *C2 *which has *Z *as MAC address using DHCP reservation option from the GW UI Soon after step-3, I expect DHCP server to send ARP/PING requests for checking whether 192.168.0.10 is assigned to any device in the network currently. But, thats not happening. Thanks Suresh
