I'd like to have a PDF index with section numbers and section titles
in the index instead of page numbers.
E.g instead of
widgets .. 54
Have
widgets3.4 Product Range
Is this possible? I can't see any easy way to do this. I looked at the
HTML index template, and only got
/xsl:text
xsl:apply-templates select=$container mode=title.markup/

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is a FOP issue or a DocBook issue.
When I transform the attached file to XSL-FO and process the resulting
FO with FOP, I get this warning:
WARNING: span=inherit on fo:block, but no explicit value found on
the parent FO.
I'm using the 1.73.2 DocBook XSL.
I get this

Customize the component.toc.separator template (see autotoc.xsl):
xsl:template name=component.toc.separator
fo:block break-after=page/
/xsl:template
Excellent, this worked perfectly. Thanks!

Thanks - I'll give this a try :-)
Hi,
I want to add a page break after the ToC in the PDF generated from an
article/. I've spent a couple of hours digging around in the docs
and the XSLT, but no luck. Can anyone help?

I'd like to be able to mark arbitrary subsections of para elements as

Excellent, that worked, thanks.
I also added the following customization to get Appendix before the
appendix title in the main body of the document.
xsl:template match=appendix mode=object.title.template
xsl:choose
xsl:when test=string($appendix.autolabel) != 0
xsl:call-template
Hi,
One of my users wants appendices to be labelled Appendix A, Appendix
B, etc instead of A, B, etc in the ToC and the main body of the
document. What is the easiest way of doing this?
I'd also like to be able to add a divider between the chapters and
appendices (say an hr in the HTML, or

Hope that helps...
It did, yes. My eventual solution was to add the following to my
customization layer:
xsl:template name=book.titlepage.separator
/xsl:template

Hi,
I have a couple of problems with the Table of Contents and Lists of
Figures, Examples, and Tables. I've been going through the docs and
source (and sagehill.net) for a couple of hours, to no avail

Generally it is better practice to link to the container rather than the
title element.
I've fixed the internal tools we were using to allow linking to
sect1 elements now.
But people do create links to title
Hi,
In the attached document I have 2 xref/ elements. One points to a
sect1. The other points to the title of the sect1.
When I convert it to PDF the xref/ to the sect1 becomes a hyperlink,
but the xref/ to the title does not. In both cases, the generated
text is correct.
