Title: PassiveTex problems
I use the newest XSL docbook stylesheets together with PassiveTex and have several problems (saxon or xalan XSL processor):
1) error messages in Tex, when processing the resulting fo file:
--Illegal unit of measure (pt inserted)
--(to be read again)
--l.3019
That did the trick. Of course, we had to modify each of appendix,
sect1, sect2 ... to get all those elements as well. And we had to
include the common/dblen.ent as an entity to have all the entities
resolve, using this line at the top of our customized stylesheet:
!ENTITY % en.words SYSTEM

2) German Hyphenation (justified paragraphs) seems not to work at all

with JADE.).
Does your document contain lang=de on root element? This

(sorry to the moderator. I had send this email to the wrong list.)
Hello,
when using docbook xsl sheets docbook.xsl creates one large file including
TOCs in it. When using chunk.xsl it splits it up but there are no TOCs. Is
this still under development or do I have to create this myself?

yes, PassiveTeX does not understand that properly. annoying. I HATE
that list handling in XSL FO!
One minor correction to the jadetex installation documentation:
before make install you must run mktexlsr if you have just built
hugelatex. Otherwise, make exits with an error about not knowing
where hugetex.fmt is.

I believe this is my problem on Debian with XHTML 1.1. They have the

Has anyone ever gotten Xalan 2.1.0 to compile the docbook stylesheets into
Java translets?
