[docbook-apps] Glossary sorting in Japanese

Hi Docbook Nabblers I'm looking for advice on how to sort Japanese words using the ja.xml file. Is it possible to set a glossary term and hide it from view but still be picked up for sorting? Then it may be possible to set the glossterm in hiragana or katakana invisibly when the actual term

Hi Scott, Another approach might be to use the new annotations feature in DocBook 5.0. You could create a system of annotations to indicate which sections are intended for sidebars, and the stylesheet could respond to that. The annotations would indicate that certain sections are not part of
