Hi,
I'm using xsl to convert docbook xml to html.
I'd like to add two div wrappers right at the start of the html
page's body section, and close them right at the end of it. I've
scanned through the docbook xsl complete guide but can't find the
instructions to do this.
Can anyone help?

Hi,
When I ran the my Docbook XML document through the Docbook XSL
stylesheets to produce a XSL-FO stylesheet, I noticed that it didn't
handle the element under the element. It does handle the element,
though. (If I recall correctly, they both

Hi,
Your message wasn't quite clear I think because you put element names in
angle brackets, and those didn't survive.
I think you are asking why articleinfo/date does not appear in the output.
The stylesheets do not automatically output everything in *info, because
some elements are meant
Thanks, Bob. Even though my e-mail was missing some information, you
ascertained my point correctly. I was talking about the
articleinfo/date element.
As I mentioned it, I created a customization layer to deal with it,
following your instructions from you book. (Great job, by the way,

The titlepage spec file is the file named titlepage.templates.xml that is
located in either the html or fo directory of the stylesheet distribution.
That's what you copy to modify and generate a new titlepage XSL module to
import.

I'm not sure I understand the question. The prior mail was about HTML
processing. There are no page numbers in HTML output. Can you clarify what
you want?

This is a strange error that I've not seen before. Those templates have a
lot of mileage, so I don't think it is a bug there. Does this occur with
all documents? Can you post a very short document that illustrates the
problem?

xref titles in italics for sections etc.First question: are you using the
docbook 5 namespaced stylesheets? If so, the element names in the match need
to have the namespace prefix.

Thank you Bob. That of course was the problem. This
works fine.
I must remember that I need to think a little when I copy one of
your recipes!

Many thanks! I missed, that I can use a value list not only as
element attribute, but also as a parameter
(profile.os=win;notlinux;...).

Hi folks.
I am restarting an old Docbook XSL project of mine with a fresh build
environment on a new system. So, naturally, there are bugs. :-) I believe
I've managed to work out most of the build system, with one exception that I
