Hi list,
I made the section not to chunk when I apply the attribute @role =
'subsection'
That works pretty well.
But now I want the sections with @role = 'subsection' to not appear in the
TOC in the CHM.
I tried the following:

Hello group,
I'm trying to make my tables in fo output
xsl:param name=default.table.frametopbot/xsl:param.
But the statement in the stylesheet has no effect.
When I provide the frame attribute to the table, it works.
Using 1.72.0 xsltproc + fop 0.93.
Are there any known issues?
Thx,
Hello group,
is there a way in docbook to encapsulate other tags into a tag that has no
structural meaning?
The problem we are having is that we want to have several sections in an xml
file, and xinclude it into another file.
Thanks,
Hinrich

The defaults here should be better, and it's not trivial to understand.

Hello there,
we are using several attributes for images.
Like scalefit=1, contentheight=100% and contentdepth=100%
Is there a way to set these attributes per default, so I don't have to
specify anything ?
(This actually is a default that makes sense.)

Hello group,
I'm wondering it fit is possible to modify the page number lable.
I mean the lable that says
10 of 235 or so.
Do the fo styleshett generate that info, or is fop doing that?
We would like to show the numbers on the page, because our page 1 is
actually on page 17.

Hello group,
Can somebody explain to me what a character map is?
I'm trying to replace some ascii characters with Unicode charcters, and I
think I should use a character map.
Can somebody give me an example?
DoI use man.string.subst.map for that?
Btw, I use xsltproc and fop 0.9
want to exchange the ascii - (dash) with a longer Unicode dash.
Thanks,
Hinrich

Hi there,
I was trying to change the font size of programlisting text (formatting

I was trying:

/xsl:attribute-set
But nothing changed.
What is the easiest was?

Hello there,
Does anyone have experience in translating docbook documents?
Are there any tools out there to assist? What is the best approach?

Ive removed the hr/ from the titlepage.template.xml
I just thought that the complete titlepage of the TOC should not be rendered
when we say no TOC.

Hello everybody,
I've noticed that you can change page numbering in a PDF in the following
way:
In out PDF generated with FOP (from docbook of course) the page number
displayer in adobe reader looks like this:
1 of 100
for page 1. Even though page 1 is numbered I (roman)

Hello,
I have the problem that table heading may be separated from the table body.
With heading I mean the first row containing the heading (is table heading
the correct term?)
The heading on the end of one page and the table on the next page.
Is there a way to prevent that?
I was thinking about this too. (though Im not capable of creating anything
in the wiki)
I made a lot of customizations here that Im willing to contribute.

Hello,
I'm trying to use MathML in docbook.
Does anybody know if it is possible to do that with FOP?
If so, is there a good example somewhere?
Thanks in advance,
Hinrich
