I have gone as far as I can go with mail merge. The only problem
that I can not solve is with Step 4 of the mail merge wizard, Create a
salutation. As long as I uncheck the box for a personal salutation, it
works fine. Otherwise I get an two lines when there should only be one:

I have been following the messages in regards to the Mail Merge section
of the guide.
I don't use the merge for mailing. I print bar code labels with it for
serial numbered products and print individualised product certificates.
I have never found the explanations in the guide easy to follow
There is a bug. It does not work on ubuntu also.

3" into the Writer Guide/6.4/Drafts folder. My apologies for the previous
attachment - I either didn't know or forgot (most likely!) that attachments
