Hi Jean all. I've been silent for a while but jump in about this template topic that really bugs me for a long while. Hi :) Andreas seems unable to stop himself being quite rude to people, often even unnecessarily. However he is brillant at quite a lot to do with databases. I think the docs team would probably welcome him (at least initially), right? Personally i think he is a classic back seat driver (takes one to know one i guess). Hi :) Apparently some people in Mexico were able to access the internet through a ham-radio set-up. Not hugely fast but good for emailing apparently. I guess 2 cups and a bit of string is pushing it. Pigeons have a high dropped packets rate but packet size can be considerably larger especially with usb-sticks. Hi Chapter 3 of the guide has been uploaded to ODF Calc Drafts. Chapter 4 now in progress. The apostrophe! Just curious here, but ... Doing a search or a search and replace looking for the apostrophe used in 'contractions' like 'we'll', returns no hits, even when I'm sitting three lines above one. It finds the 'we', and it finds the 'll', but not the whole word, nor the apostrophe alone. Over-typing the apostrophe and doing the search finds it ok. So I was just curious about what character is used for the apostrophe in the documents, if it's not U+0027. As I said, just curious. FYI, during the documentation styles cataloging I've started a few hours ago, I've noticed that not all paragraph styles have the same language defined. Some have EN (USA) while others have EN (Aus). Could this language thingy play the trick you're noticing? Note also, that the FR apostrophe, for instance, is not U+0027 but U+2019. I don't recall how much detail is included, however; probably not as much as you want. [libreoffice-documentation] Does LibreOffice has official User Guide in Chinese?
Hi All! I use LibreOffice recently, both in Windows and Linux. But I found that there was no Official User Guide in Chinese. I search it on Google, and still didn't find yet. (Maybe I lost something) So does there have any LibreOffice User Guide in Chinese? If not, I may start to translate it, first to Simplified, then to Traditional. If I finished it. I want to submit it to community. To help other people who spoke Chinese to learn and use LibreOffice easily. Could someone give me an official answer? Thanks!
