Howdy Dave I just now tried the latest release of the extension (ver 1.4.2) with 6.2Alpha1 and you are correct it fails searching for a character style. Also, just now, tried that extension with 6.1.3 -> 5.4.7 (all using Ubuntu 18.04) and it works fine for character style searches. Are you sure

Hi Folks, Does anyone have any info or pointers about how to find character styles in a Writer document? In the past the Alternative Find & Replace extension was very useful for this, but unfortunately it is no longer maintained and something must have changed in the 6.x series which causes it
