As I mentioned elsewhere, I have almost finished revising the WG up to LOv5.4, and as soon as I've finished the others, I'll start updating them to v6.0. The list and sequence of chapters have been significantly changed. I've put the completed files in the "Writer Guide > Published LO5.4" folder on ODFAuthors.
I know the team decided not to do a 5.x iteration of the Writer Guide, but I found it easier to do that than attempt to rewrite at the same time as making the jump from 4.2 to 6.0.
