I just looked in the /tmp folder, and indeed it was there.

Fedora could read my Ubuntu share straight away, but was impervious to
being read.
In my efforts to fix up a samba share, I broke my lovely 10.4 share.
Still no access, and now Fedora can't get into Ubuntu anymore.
For about five minutes, Ubuntu Samba 'found' the Fedo
After Fedora sat there like a mule, it finally let me log in. I plugged
in the new dongle and it worked immediately.
Not bad for £7.
Only niggle - it's only showing two bars at ten feet, so if you want to
put a box in another room, probably better off buying a Belkin dongle.
