The Broadway seems to have changed management and has a new 'What's On' schedule displayed outside, which includes "Card Bingo" on Tuesdays. I went in tonight just after 8 to see what might be happening and it was the same as it usually is on a Tuesday.
Had a word with the manager and he said they were intending to start some sort of event on Tuesday evenings (and on other evenings too, to try to bring in more business) but they were not doing it that night as some people he'd been expecting to come along had not turned up so he did not think there would be enough people interested. I did not take in the mechanics of the game but you can imagine the kind of thing. He did say that if we turned up next week and they did end up running the bingo thing they could turn off the speakers in the Snug. He did know about the "Lie-nux" user group :) Does anyone else have a preference to try going somewhere else or would we rather take a chance on the Broadway as usual?
