Hiya, It's OK; I've sorted it. I took the output from chi_tra and pasted it into Google Translate. I forgot that tesseract simply recognises the chars, not translates them! Duh! Hmm. It turns out that it's not the instructions; it's an advert ;-( That’s odd. I got: Instructions:

Anyone had any success translating a set of Chinese instructions using OCR? I've just taken delivery of a tube of silver conductive paint and it only has (what I believe are) Chinese instructions. I installed tesseract and tried the chi-sim, chi-tra, chi-sim-vert and chi- tra-vert language
