*Location: in Melbourne, Florida. *

*Duration: is a 12 month contract *

*Mode: Phone then Skype depending on Consultants Location.*

*JD:*

the Linux Security position:

·         Networking knowledge (down to a packet level)

o   Competent with using Wireshark

o   Understanding of 802.1Q

·         Linux admin knowledge

o   package management

o   IPTables competency



​Linux system administration / network engineering

​•             Can keep our linux up to date with latest
bug/security patches

•             Can install/configure 3rd party software (i.e. Apache,
tomcat, nginx, DDS, dhcp, ipsec)

•             Can assist with managing SELinux policies

•             Can help define and configure the network settings in our
different LRUs

•             Can help developers with all the networking details
associated with our product (i.e. setting up routes, setting up VPNs, etc)

•             Can help define and manage our firewalls



​​Bonus knowledge:

·         SELinux

·         SW Development knowledge (C++ preferred)​​​
