Client is seeking a Front End Developer to work with Senior Java Developers
and Business Analysts to create a new system from the ground-up.



Front End Developer Responsibilities:

·         Design, implement, and manage new web-based applications as well
as ongoing maintenance and enhancements of the existing applications

·         Participate in all aspects of the Agile software development
lifecycle

·         Assist client support personnel in the remediation of production
issues, defects, and bugs

·         Author and update functional requirements and technical design
documentation

·         Validate test plans and scenarios



Front End Developer Requirements:

·         Three or more years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, JSPs,
JQuery, Ajax, HTML5/CSS, JSON, Java

·         Solid front end development experience using ExtJS

·         Fluency in SQL

·         Experience working in Unix environment, Unix shell scripting is a
plus

·         Familiarity in the use of XML

·         Knowledge of Agile framework

·         Experience with J2EE Application Servers

·         College Degree is required

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills, good judgment,
high ethical standards, and a strong work ethic are a must

·         Strong analytical skills to solve problems

·         Willingness to learn the underlying business at a detailed and
technical level

·         Financial services experience is helpful, but not required

·         Ability to work in a small company – big client setting
