Ability to perform hands-on design and development tasks as well as
directing the work of others
Experience in B2C & B2B online e-commerce systems architecture and design
in IBM WebSphere Commerce v7, v8, IBM Sterling Order Management System
(Preferable).
Participate in project planning and tasks assignment with application
development manager
Collect, analyze business requirements and convert to technical design
Design, develop, test, and implement application enhancements
Investigate and resolve complex issues while supporting existing
applications

Excellent communication skills (written / verbal) with varied audiences
Experience explaining difficult concepts to decision makers to help shape
technology strategy
Experience modeling as-is and to-be architectures based on business
requirements
Experience in architecture and design of mobile web applications included
responsive design and hybrid model for device native applications
Knowledge of strategic technologies and industry best practices
Strong analytic and problem solving skills
Strong understanding of software development methodologies

Required Technical Skills:
Expert Knowledge of ecommerce platforms; n-Tier required, IBM desired
Expert Knowledge of Object Oriented Languages & Concepts; Java required

Competency in the following technical disciplines strongly preferred:
Middleware and SOA Technologies
Presentation tier technologies: web portal
Systems Security technology
Business Process Management technologies
Implementing and maintaining SOLR Search

Relational Databases (Preferably Oracle)
Developing web services technologies (SOAP and RESTful)

 *Websphere Portal Dev *

IBM WCM/ Portal Developer:
Experience in Web Sphere Portal 8 (Page structure, Portlet to Portlet
communication, Application scope session, Public render parameters, Events,
Themes and Skins) Experience in using WCM API & WCM workflows, and WCM
plugins and & Rest services and JSON Working Theme optimization &
customization layouts, modules, styles Using Layout and Page Templates for
RWD/Device Classification WebSphere portal development: JSR 186/286, JEE,
and external application integration/enablement Working knowledge of Portal
theme and New Portal 8 Theme development Experience in Web2.0 user
interface features: HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, DOJO, JQUERY Preferred having
one year of ODM experience ODM modules such as Rule Studio, RTS, RES, RSO,
DVS, and experience in validating rules against the object model and data
model Nice to have: portal design Knowledge in Infrastructure level (load
balancer, web server, application server, security, LDAP, firewall
