the new mail server that i had set up, i locate a username:ldapuser
and password:password to the SMTP AUTH and converted to base64 string.
Then in my Thunderbird incoming server outgoing server username, i
put: ldapuser...
and it works ok .
But then when i try to add another username and

I used auth_debug=yes and auth_debug_passwords=yes. But I only see
connects and disconnects:

I've just been told that I need to make our mail server cater to
accounts with single quotes.
Has anyone set dovecot up to do this or know of any
documentation/howto on it, assuming it's possible at all.
I'm running dovecot 1.0.5 on Ubuntu 7.10 if that makes much of a difference.
