Looks like my virtual_mailbox_domains setting in postfix was not doing
the proper lookup, so it thought my domain was local. I've fixed that,
so this is no longer an issue.

to the directory where libmaxminddb.so.0.0.7 resides it does not change
that configure seems to be unable to find GEOIP.
I've got dovecot vacataion auto-responses working via sieve, but when
the responses are sent, they are sent as if they are to be locally
delivered, which causes them to bounce for domains that I am not local
for. How can I get dovecot's sieve vacation response to check the domain
is local or

I hope so.
Right now I am simply
Hi Tobi,
it should just work, but depends on the OS version.
./configure —help tells you all the configure options, including:
--with-maxminddb-includedir
path to maxminddb include directory [default=auto]
--with-maxminddb-libdir path to maxminddb library directory
Hi Neil
according to yum list installed I have

Hi Tobi,
This looks like you haven’t included the libmaxmind libraries before running
configure. GeoIP support is only compiled in if it finds the right libs.
This would be libmaxminddb-dev on Ubuntu for example.

Hi Dovecot-gurus
With the introduction of LE certificates the certificate renewal cycle is a lot
faster, unfortunately even a "dovecot reload" cuts the existing connections
when doing the cert updates, which is quite frustrating - and yes most clients

Hi list
hope it's okay to ask weakforced questions here as well, but I could not
find a dedicated mailinglist for wforce.
I want to enable GeoIP lookups in my wforce daemon. In a first step I
installed luarocks and lua-compat53 to install mmdblua module.
Then I added

I haven't used dovecot proxy or director. If I have a setup where all my

are connecting to HOSTNAMEOLD, is it possible to have 1 imap user that

Hi,
Hello.
For the last year, each time i've tried updating dovecot from 2.2.x to
2.3.x, I had to rollback because of the following problem:
Users don't "see" new emails arriving in subdirs.
To be specific

* we use maildrop for delivery

Just curious if there are already people actively using object storage?

Maybe you should consider migration instead of in-place upgrade to a
system which uses e.g. dovecot-lda or lmtp to deliver mail so that INBOX
can reside in same place with other folders?

With this setting, all folders are empty, I guess understandable,
because the mdbox has its own indexes stored locally with it. Does not
explain though why inbox is empty.

You can't use LAYOUT=maildir++ here.

Yes, I have still inbox mbox format because I have sendmail delivering
there. I trying to migrate/convert
step by step, with least possible impact for users.
