AWS released one month ago a EFS system with administered life cycle,
which means that files not accessed in the last 30 days are moved to a
lower cost storage tier. Currently I hold my e-mail, delivered to
Maildir++ folders by postfix and retrieved with Dovecot, in standard EBS

Why is the quotation mark removed in the new version?
Is there any configuration option in the new version

that this could be a config issue, esp when the pre-2.2.34 version works as

Thank you for pointing me to the source. Unfortunately I am running
Plesk on my server and thus relying on the plesk-dovecot package to
ensure the seamless integration with the rest of the packages.
Besides being behind a few months on the updates Plesk also still
recommends using fts_squat
We provide packages at https://repo.dovecot.org - maybe you can use these?
