So the problem (I think) is that quota plugin is not used in the lmtp
process. Is there any way to configure that lmtp processes use the

lmtp/imap/pop proxy server with 8 dovecot backend servers.
In our test environment we had no problem, but when we migrated to
production
a lot of errors like this:
451 4.4.0 Remote server not answering (DATA output timeout) (in reply to
end of DATA command))
I have found this same issue in some posts to this list, but I
can't find any solution
Any idea?

applied in 2.0. So I guess that the disconnection is for other problem,

Nope. But you could configure your LDAP server to idle-disconnect after
some amount
problem, because when my load balancer expires
the connection it closes the tcp connection (it sends a fin packet). I
guess that slapd too. But I'll check this...
