How did you set up the catch all? I thought you specify a virtuser entry
like:
@mydomain.com spam
then have a "real" spam account to drop the mail to. You can alias "spam"
or whatever
mailbox. It's also used if there is no Sieve script or if the script fails

TAs have different detection methods for this case, I guess.
