I'm not sure though that there is a way to 'move' to that config without
having to basically migrate all your mailboxes.

This then automates the conversion process to happen on next user login.
Be warned though that today with all the idle phones, probably many users will

DEFAULT=${ORGMAIL}
is a good idea. Wouldn't it be better to have
DEFAULT=/var/spool/mail/$USER
so there would be a fallback in case there are delivery problems to
${ORGMAIL}

was. I will continue to try and see if there is a more elegant
work-around but for now, this is all I can come up with.

This is using the reverse approach of not having separate Root Folder
paths for the same Linux login ID.
If this does work I can then reverse engineer the issue at the site over
the weekend as well.
